Sage (Salvia) - Aromatic and Medicinal Plant Presentation: Sage or "Salmiya" is an aromatic and medicinal plant known since ancient times for its great health benefits. Used in traditional medicine, cooking, and in the making of some natural products. Features: Taste: aromatic, bitter, warm. Color: its leaves are grayish-green, and its extract is light yellow or light brown. Use: Herbal infusion (sage infusion for digestion and colic). In cosmetics (toner for oily skin). In cooking (marinade for meats and poultry). Advantage: 100% natural plant, rich in essential oils, antibacterial, beneficial for digestion and respiration. Technical Specifications: Ingredients: fresh or dried sage leaves. Quantities (approximate): one teaspoon of dried leaves (2-3 grams) per cup of boiling water (200 ml). Let steep for 5 to 10 minutes before drinking. Source: Harvest: green leaves of the sage plant. Production: traditional (natural drying) or industrial (oils and extracts).
